The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre is ready for the grand premiere of the season, Aida by Giuseppe Verdi

On 11, 13 and 19 April, the premiere of Giuseppe Verdi’s most exotic opera, Aida, will take place on the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. The performance will be presented in its original version by the Honored Art Worker of Russia, stage director of the Mariinsky Theatre, Alexey Stepanyuk. The music director is Pavel Smelkov, the chief conductor of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.

Press conference of Japanese artists on the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre

Press conference dedicated to the first performance of the cult Japanese opera Yuzuru in Vladivostok will be held on March 4 at 14:00 on the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. Consul-General of Japan in Vladivostok, Koitiro Nakamura, conductor Ken Takaseki, director and production designer Sigachaka Matsumoto, performers of the main parts of the soprano Mivako Handa, tenor Kayro Ohara, director of Japan Arts Company Junichi Niehey will answer journalists’ questions.
