About the Concert

On the occasion of the landmark anniversary of the “sun of Russian poetry”, the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre is to present a performance in a unique format where scenes from eight operas will be performed during one night. A rare theatre can boast of such a wide variety of performances based on Pushkin’s plots. The gala concert with which the cycle “Pushkin – 225” is to begin will include a lot of Pushkin’s inspired verses translated into Russian music.
