Aerial dance – such an incredible spectacle will be presented at the festival by the Brenda Angiel Aerial Dance Company from Buenos Aires. In 8cho the famous Argentine tango is intertwined with other rhythms and styles. To the accompaniment of live music, the performers literally fly in their dance, not on the floor, but in the air, fascinating the audience with the grace and sensuality of movements.
The founder of the group, Brenda Angiel, worked in various genres – from classical ballet to modern dance and drama. However she preferred conquering the air elements to the artistic skills of standing firmly on her feet. The mere name of her company’s technique is Aerial Dance. Brenda creates her own choreographic language, boldly breaking boundaries and the laws of gravity. It’s not a wonder that it was she who opened the world’s first Aerial Dance School for children and adults.
Throughout its life, the company has toured worldwide, participated in international festivals and performed at grand stadiums.
