On September 6 and September 7, 2022, the most outstanding performers of classical music will appear in the Great Hall of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. These events will become the culmination of the cultural program at the VII Eastern Economic Forum.
On September 6, 2022 at 21:00, Denis Matsuev will make his long-awaited return to the Primorsky Stage. The famous virtuoso pianist will perform the solo parts in the Third Piano Concerto by Sergei Rachmaninoff. He will be accompanied by the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Valery Gergiev. The night program also includes Rachmaninoff’s orchestral masterpiece – Symphonic Dances suite.
The world-renowned opera bass Ildar Abdrazakov will twice appear at the Primorsky Stage. On September 7, 2022 at 18:00, he will perform the primary part in the Modest Musorgsky’s legendary opera Boris Godunov. The Primorsky Stage will present the scenic version of the opera based on Andrey Tarkovsky’s production. The Mariinsky Orchestra of the Primorsky Stage will be conducted by Valery Gergiev.
On September 7, 2022 at 21:30, Ildar Abdrazakov will give his solo concert. He will perform popular arias from operas by Russian and foreign composers. The singer will be accompanied by the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Valery Gergiev.
