On March 19, 2021 Olga Yarilova, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, visited the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre during her working trip to the Primorsky Region. After her meeting with the business and artistic management of the Primorsky Stage, she saw the rousing Don Quixote ballet.
That night the principal roles were performed by leading soloists and dancers of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, such as Irina Sapozhnikova, Kanat Nadyrbek, Valery Ignatov, Sergei Umanetc, Anna Samostrelova, Lilia Berezhnova, Saya Okamoto, and Saki Nishida. Anton Torbeev conducted the orchestra. The child parties were danced by pupils of the Vladivostok branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (the Bolshoi Ballet Academy).
