Mikael Tariverdiev’ Unique Musical Performance Premieres At the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre

On 3 December at its Chamber Hall the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre will present the premiere of Non-Random People – a chamber performance set to music by Mikael Tariverdiev. The concept author and director is Daria Panteleeva. The plot is based on several stories about life and relationships of ordinary people. Tariverdiev’s vocal pieces are organically integrated into the outline of events. The second part of the musical evening will feature the composer’s famous mono-opera Expectation performed by the Primorsky Stage soloist Alena Diyanova.

The December chamber events schedule will also include W.A.Mozart’s sienspigel Bastien und Bastienne (December 11) and a concert of instrumental and vocal music by Franz Schubert (December 18). The concert will feature jewels of the composer’s chamber works: renowned vocal compositions Baracole and Ständchen (Serenade), as well as the Sonata for Arpeggione and Piano, the Trout Piano Quintet (Die Forelle) and other works.

Meetings with the Primorsky Stage opera soloists held within the framework of the cycle Portrait of an Singer in an Interior will be continued on December 23 by Laureate of international competitions Vadim Soloviev (bas). The project provides a unique opportunity to learn more about your favourite artist and to hear his selected repertoire.
