The ballet work “Sundial” breaks the traditional structure of ballet and distinguishes it from the traditional stereotypes of ballet. It is based on life, time, light, shadow, and the alternation of the sun and moon, and revolves around the traditional Chinese culture of the "sundial". It introduces the concept of the twelve hours of the sundial, showcasing the ups and downs and resilience of individuals in time and destiny. The time of the day, day after day, year after year, is like the disappearance and rebirth of life.
