Anastasia Lukina, a soloist of the Mariinsky Ballet, appears at the Primorsky Stage

Anastasia Lukina, a recipient of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Grand-Prix, holder of a degree from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, student of Lyudmila Kovaleva, soloist of the Mariinsky Ballet in Saint Petersburg, will take part in final ballet performances at the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.

The young dancer impersonates the concept of Mariinsky classical ballet. Her dancing is limpid, emotional and notable for technical faultlessness.

On September 24, 2022, Anastasia Lukina will perform the primary part in Adolphe Adam’s Le Corsaire choreographed by the Ballet Artistic Director of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, Eldar Aliev. The ballerina has already danced the part of Medora when the Primorsky Stage Ballet toured in Saint Petersburg in August. Her performance was highly appreciated by both critics and the audience. The ballet critic Alexander Maksov wrote that “her tour pique utterly marveled with its tempo, drawing a storm of applause, and her vertiginous pointwise fouette just added another hot coal to her fire of success”.

On September 24, Anastasia Lukina will appear in the Great Hall together with soloists and dancers of the Primorsky Stage such as Lada Sartakova, Viktor Mulygin, Georgy Stelmakh, and Vasily Neplyuyev.

On September 29, 2022, Anastasia Lukina will appear in the major role of Odette-Odile in the immortal classical ballet Swan Lake by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

The ballet will also be represented by soloists and dancers of the Primorsky Stage such as Sergei Umanetc, Denis Golov, Ksenia Ring, Polina Isaeva, Georgy Stelmakh, and Alexander Ermokhin. Both on September 24 and September 29, the Mariinsky Orchestra of the Primorsky Stage will be conducted by Vitaly Shevelev.
