In September, Renata Shakirova, the Vladivostok audience favorite and the first soloist of the Mariinsky Ballet, will again perform the primary roles in the picturesque ballet Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus and the mysterious ballet Giselle by Adolphe Adam at the Primorsky Stage.
Renata Shakirova’s dances are always energetic, temperamental, and dynamical. The images created by Renata impress and delight with her mastery and spirit. The brilliant ballerina’s repertoire includes both classical and modern ballets. In 2016, she, dancing in a pair with Kimin Kim, became the winner of Rossiya-Kultura TV’s project Grand Ballet.
On September 9, 2022, Renata Shakirova will perform the role of the beauty Kitri, the barber Basilio’s beloved. The performance is a colorful sample of the Spanish ballet with incendiary ensemble dances. On September 11, 2022, the soloist will dance as the tremulous Giselle in the ballet of the same name.
Renata Shakirova’s appearances at the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre are already quite familiar to ballet lovers for her roles in such performances as A Thousand and One Nights by Fikret Amirov, Le Corsaire by Adolphe Adam, La Bayadère by Ludwig Minkus, The Sleeping Beauty by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, The Bronze Horseman by Reinhold Glière, and other ballets.
The orchestra in ballet performances featuring Renata Shakirova will be conducted by Anton Torbeev, a conductor of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
