On July 31, 2022, as a part of the VII International Mariinsky Far East Festival, Vladivostok, the meeting with students of the Primorsky Branch of the Central Music College with the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory was held in the Great Hall of the Primorsky Stage. The Primorsky Branch was formed in 2019 to make education available in the spheres of world-class culture and arts.
The students were present at an orchestral rehearsal of the premiere of Le nozze di Figaro and communicated with some artists. Justus Frantz, a world-renowned German conductor and pianist, and Irina Soboleva, Honored Artist of Russia, Artistic Director of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, answered student's questions and told them about interesting features of the scenic process at the Primorsky Stage.
The Central Music College – Academy of Performing Arts is an internationally known educational institution offering the unique system of early professional education. It was established by the greatest professors of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 1935 and has produced plenty of brilliant musicians such as Denis Matsuev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Nikolai Lugansky, Vladimir Spivakov, Mikhail Pletnev, Gennady Rozhdestvensky to name a few.
