Yekaterina Osmolkina and Alexei Timofeyev, ballet soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre, appears at the Primorsky Stage
The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre invites you to enjoy a ballet from the treasury house of timeless classics on May 6, 2022. It will be The Sleeping Beauty by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The primary roles of Princess Aurora and Prince Désiré will be performed by Yekaterina Osmolkina and Alexei Timofeyev, ballet soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. Ballet soloists and dancers of the Primorsky Stage, such as Saki Nishida, Lilia Berezhnova, Yuri Zinnurov, Lada Sartakova, and Shizuru Kato, will become their companions on the stage. The symphony orchestra is to be conducted by Anton Torbeev.
Yekaterina Osmolkina is an Honored Artist of Russia and a prizewinner at many international competitions. She was a recipient of Saint Petersburg’s highest scenic award “Golden Sophit” for the best female role in Le Réveil de Flore in the 2006/2007 season.
Alexei Timofeyev is a prizewinner at international ballet competitions. He was a recipient of the diploma for his high level of artistry and his contribution to the development of Bashkortostan’s choreography at the 16th Rudolf Nureyev International Ballet Festival in 2010.
