Dmitry Migulyov, a soloist of the Primorsky Stage Opera, become a Grand Prix winner at the International Competition

On April 8, 2022 Dmitry Migulyov, a soloist of the Primorsky Stage Opera, was awarded the Grand Prix at the XII International Competition of Young Musicians Musical Vladivostok 2022 in the Academic Vocal category (class of Associate Professor E.A. Glushenko). Professor A.P. Smirnov, an Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra of the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic Society, who was given the title of an Honored Artist of Russia, was a chairman of the judges.

The International Competition of Young Musicians is biyearly held at the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the newspaper Musical Review, the Russian Association of Music Competitions, the Primorsky Region Administration, and the Vladivostok Administration. 

Dmitry Migulyov has served as a soloist of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre from August 2019. He studied at the Glinka Novosibirsk State Conservatory from 2012 to 2014. In January 2018 he performed as a soloist of the Black Sea Fleet’s Song and Dance Ensemble during the company’s tour over Spain and Portugal. In 2019 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. Dmitry Migulyov was a prizewinner at the 47th All-Russian Review Contest of Music College Graduates in Saint Petersburg in 2019.
