By decision of Eldar Aliev, Ballet Artistic Director of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, the first soloist Viktor Mulygin is granted a Principal dancer’s status. We congratulate him on his well-earned success!
Viktor Mulygin is a representative of Perm ballet school. In 2007 and 2008 he was a ballet dancer of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre. Later he became a leading soloist of the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. He has toured in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Finland, Czechia, China, Iceland, and Mexico.
In 2017 Viktor Mulygin became a soloist of the ballet company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. He successfully performs leading roles in classic ballets such as The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire and creates memorable images in 20th century ballets including The Firebird, The Little Humpbacked Horse, Daphnis et Chloé, A Thousand and One Nights, Phaedra, among others.
