On October 18 at 19:00 St Petersburg State Academic Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre will perform on the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. The company will appear in Vladivostok for the first time. The tour is a part of the Petersburg Theatres’ Tours program of the International Theatre Olympics 2019.
The company from St Petersburg will present to the Far East audience a night of Russian Ballet Masterpieces. Its program includes a collection of choreographic miniatures of Leonid Yakobson, the prominent master of choreography and founder of the theatre. The Miniatures were renewed by the efforts of excellent artists Tatiana Noginova (costumes), and Alyona Pikalova and Tatiana Vyushinskaya (scenery). Engaged in the production are the theatre’s soloists: Alla Bocharova, Sofia Matyushenskaya, Olga Mikhailova, Anna Sergeeva, Svetlana Svinko, Anna Skvortsova, Yelena Chernova, Denis Klimuk, Andrei Sorokin, Andrei Gudyma, Sergey Davydov, and Sergey Krylov.
