Press conference dedicated to the first performance of the cult Japanese opera Yuzuru in Vladivostok will be held on March 4 at 14:00 on the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. Consul-General of Japan in Vladivostok, Koitiro Nakamura, conductor Ken Takaseki, director and production designer Sigachaka Matsumoto, performers of the main parts of the soprano Mivako Handa, tenor Kayro Ohara, director of Japan Arts Company Junichi Niehey will answer journalists’ questions.
For accreditation, please send a request stating your full name, the name of your newspaper/magazine, list of equipment (for photographers and camera team members) to firstname.lastname@example.org. The accredited journalists can access the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theater through the staff entrance starting from 13:30, strictly according to the lists and only upon presentation of the document.
The premiere of Ikuma Dana’s opera Yuzuru on the Primorsky Stage will take place on March 5. On March 8 and 9 it will be presented in the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. The tour is dedicated to the Year of Japan in Russia.
