Yesterday, the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre was visited by 308 participants of the Ocean Scaffolds programme of the All-Russian Children’s Ocean Centre. Young guests attended educational lectures on the music theatre featuring artists of the Mariinsky Orchestra of the Primorsky Stage. They were also taken on a backstage tour of the Theatre and had a chance to see the work of design and production services, visit a dressing room and get a sneak peek at the Theatre’s activities behind the scenes.
The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre continues their collaboration with the Ocean Children’s Centre, which includes various educational events and programmes.
Since 2016 the Orchestra and opera soloists of the Primorsky Stage has been regularly appearing at the Ocean Centre with performances. Besides, the Centre has been included into the programme of the large-scale International Mariinsky Far East Festival in Vladivostok, which annually brings together best opera, ballet and instrumental music performers from all over the world.
