Sergei Bogoslavsky holds a degree from the Department of Vocal Direction of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov majoring in Musical Theatre Direction.
Since 2010, Sergei Bogoslavsky has been working with the Mariinsky Theatre. As an Assistant Stage Director he has been involved in staging such operas as Boris Godunov, The Oprichnik, The Tsar’s Bride, Not Love Alone, The Lefthander, The Idiot, Oedipus rex, Der Schauspieldirektor, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Il viaggio a Reims, L’elisir d’amore, Don Carlo, Il trovatore, La fanciulla del West, Die Fledermaus, Carmen, Pelléas et Mélisande, The Turn of the Screw, The Makropulos Affair.
