Igor Chikishev

• Prize-winner of the V International Vocal Competition Star Rhapsody (St Petersburg, 2018)
• Diploma recipient of the V International Pavel Lisitsian Vocal Competition (Vladikavkaz, 2017)

Born in Kirov. In 2007 he graduated from the Kirov College of Arts, Choral Conducting Department. In 2013 graduated from Glinka Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory, Academic Singing faculty. In 2013 he became a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers.

Since 2020 to 2024, he was a soloist of the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music (class of Elena Samarina and Honoured Artist of Russia Yevgeny Akimov). In 2020 was a participant of the opera symphonic laboratory New Opera World.

From 2021 to 2023, he was a participant of the Elena International Art Festival, St Petersburg.

Soloist with the Zazerkalye Children’s Music Theatre from 2022 to 2023. From 2023 to 2024, he was a guest soloist of the State Chamber Musical Theatre St Petersburg Opera.
