Daria Cherniy was born in Khmelnitskaya Oblast. In 2015 she was a participant of the Academy of Russian Opera Singers in the Opera of Monte Carlo (Académie de l’Opéra de Monte Carlo) in Monaco. At the Academy she worked with Laurent Campellone and Corrado Rovaris. In 2016 she graduated from the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg Conservatory (class of prof. I.P. Bogacheva).
Since August 2016 she has been a soloist of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
