In 2013 Evelina Agabalaeva graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Vladimir Vaneyev) and since that time she has been soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers. At the Conservatoire Theatre she performed the role of Olga (Eugene Onegin) and Marcellina (Le nozze di Figaro). She made her Mariinsky theatre debut as Sister Dolcina in Suor Angelica.

Evelina regularly appears in chamber music concerts by the Academy of Young Opera Singers and in productions for children: Scenes from the Life of Nikolenka Irteniev, Adalmina’s Pearl,The Boy Giant among other.
In 2014 she sang as Romeo in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Abay Opera House (production by Alexei Stepanyuk).
In 2016 together with other members of the Academy she appeared in Salonen’s concert cycle Stravinsky: Myths & Rituals in London (the Mother in Mavra).
