Miki was born in Tokyo. She studied R&B and Jazz at the Berklee College of Music. After her graduation she appeared at musical events in Boston and New York, impressing the audience by her vocals and expression. The records of her pop songs having the traditional Japanese sound were inserted in the list of the most outstanding works of the Berklee College of Music.
In 2016 the singer put out her first album Ippo Ippo that included her acoustic vocals, blues compositions a la the seventies, R&B tracks, and ballads. In the same year Miki took part in the Tokyo popular program Karaoke Battle where she won twice and was awarded with the 2016 Champion title.
In 2015 and 2017 she played the part of Joanna in the hit musical after Giacomo Puccini’s opera La Bohème.
In spring of 2017 the singer toured between Higashi and Meihan within which she appeared on the stage in Blue Note in Nagoya and Cotton Club in Tokyo. Then Miki performed the role of Joanne in the Rent musical. Now she continues to give concerts.
In 2018, two years after the release of her first album, she presented to the public her second album Miki Made with 11 love ballads performed by the charming Miki Miyamoto, a singer of impressive vocal qualities.
