Horn
Ivan Petrochenkov was born in Tashkent.
In 1999–2003 he studied Horn under R.R. Safarov at the Uspenski Boarding School (Tashkent). In 2003–2005 studied at the Stage College of the Art of Wind Playing (class of V.A. Tarasov).
In 2010 graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Professor A.S. Demin).
In 2010–2013 — a post-graduate student of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, as well as an assistant to Professor A.S.Demin.
Participated in the International Summer Music Academy Rising Stars (Almaty), the Summer Music Academy in Payerbach (Austria, 2007).
In 2003–2005 worked as a concertmaster with the Podolsk Municipal Wind Orchestra. In 2006–2009 worked at the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic (conductor Y.I. Simonov), in 2009–2011 — in the State Svetlanov Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia (conductor M.B. Gorenstein).
In 2011 he worked with the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra under Pavel Kogan. In 2011–2014 — artist of the State Academic Symphony Capella of Russia (conductors – V.K. Polyansky, G.N. Rozhdestvensky). In 2014–2015 he worked in the Concert Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Conservatory.
Since September 2015 he has been working with the Symphony Orchestra of the Primorsky Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 2016 he has been a deputy leader of the Horns section of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
