Born in Vladivostok, Ivan Kuligovsky graduated with honors from the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts (FESIA), where he had studied under Prof. R.E.Ilyukhina, an Honored Artist of Russia, in 2019 and completed his postgraduate assistantship in 2021.
Ivan Kuligovsky is a piano teacher at FESIA, where he has also worked as a concertmaster of the Vocal Art & Conducting Department from 2013 and of the Orchestral Instrument Department from 2019.
From 2014 to 2018 Ivan Kuligovsky served as a concertmaster of the FESIA Opera Studio and from 2020 to 2021 as a concertmaster of the Opera Studio of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. He prepared and performed a variety of piano, chamber and vocal chamber programs on the stages of FESIA, the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic Society, the Primorsky Regional College of Arts, the Pushkin Theatre of the Far Eastern Federal University, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and the Children School of Arts No. 1, in many cities in the Primorsky region, Khabarovsk region and Kamchatka region and the Sakhalin Region, in Krasnoyarsk and Moscow, and in Jixi, Qingdao and Harbin in China. Ivan Kuligovsky was awarded diplomas for preparing singers for such international competition as “Musical Vladivostok” in 2016 and 2018 and “Romanticism: Its Origins and Beyond” Dedicated to the Memory of E.F.Gnesina in 2019. Chairpersons of the FESIA State Board of Examiners granted him letters of acknowledgements to express their gratitude for his preparing of vocal students’ graduation programs.
