Pavel Batyan graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2015.
In 2009, he took part in the International Classical Music Festival “Youth Music Academy of CIS Countries” of Yury Bashmet (Minsk).
In 2010, he won the Bronze Medal at the VI Open Youth Delphic Games of the Member States of the CIS. In the same year, he was invited to the II International Festival of Young Classical Music Performers “Rising Stars in the Kremlin”, accompanied by the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Spivakov.
He has worked as a soloist and assistant concertmaster in the Philharmonie der Nationen orchestra under the direction of Prof. Justus Frantz.
From 2012 to 2015, Pavel Batyan was the first violin of the Minsk String Quartet. From 2015 to 2022, he was the leading master of the stage with the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the baton of the Honored Artist of Russia, maestro Evgeny Bushkov. He has also performed as a soloist with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus; the Symphony Orchestra of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus; the Symphony Orchestra of the National Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus; the Symphony Orchestra of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, etc. He has carried out creative projects with foreign conductors, performed in Minsk and other cities and towns of the Republic of Belarus, as well as in Russia, Poland, Germany, Italy, England, Lithuania, Latvia, USA, France, Switzerland, and Austria.
He has taken master classes from Galina Turchaninova, Alexander Trostyansky, Irina Bochkova, Viktor Tretiakov, Tatiana Samouil, Boris Kuschnir, Pavel Vernikov.
Since July 2023, Pavel Batyan has been employed with the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre as concertmaster for second violinists.
