Andrei Ivanov is the prizewinner at the Republican Piano Competition “Minsk-2010”, winner of the VI Open Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member states (Yerevan, 2010), winner of the International Piano Competition in Minsk (2014), and prizewinner at the José Iturbi International Piano Competition (Spain, 2017).
He holds degrees from such prestigious universities as the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (England) and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
The young pianist has performed in famous venues in the UK, such as Symphony Hall, Birmingham, Town Hall, Birmingham, Wigmore Hall, London. He has also performed in the Great and Chamber Halls of the Moscow Conservatory.
Andrei Ivanov has worked together with such orchestras as the Chamber Orchestra of the Enigma Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Chamber and Symphony Orchestras of the Minsk Philharmonic, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra, with which he performed at the opening of one of the most prestigious musical venues in England, the Bradshaw Hall in Birmingham, in 2018. Members of the Royal Family were present there, and the concert was recorded by the BBC.
In August 2019, Andrei Ivanov recorded a disc of relatively unknown transcriptions of F. Liszt with one of the most popular and prestigious music and audio publishing companies in the world, Naxos.
From 2019 to 2022, he was a soloist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, and also was employed as a Teacher at the Special Piano Department of the Republican Gymnasium-College at the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk.
Since 2022, Andrei Ivanov has been working as a Teacher at the Primorsky branch of the Central Music School – Academy of Performing Arts.
