Soo Bin Lee

  • Awarded a Special Distinction at the 26th International Ballet Competition in Varna (2014)
  • Prize-winner of the VII International Competition Vaganova-PRIX (St Petersburg, 2016)

Rising South Korean ballet star is often called “Korean Phenomenon”. Soo Bin Lee began her studies at the Korea National Ballet Academy (2010) and continued at the Sunhwa Arts School in Seoul (2014) and after that at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts (2014). Since 2015 she has been a student of the Korea National University of Arts.

She has participated in performances by the Korean National Ballet. She performed the role of Odette-Odile in Swan Lake at the Sofia National Opera and Ballet in 2015. In 2016 she performed the role of Nikiya in La Bayadere. In 2015 she performed at the 20th International Festival of Ballet in Miami and at the Korean Festival of World-Famous Stars of Dance, at the International Exhibition in Milan.
