Rafaela Morel


  • Laureate of the Rudolf Nureyev International Ballet Competition (Budapest, 2013)
  • Best Dancer award at the Enas Festival (Brazil, 2004)

Rafaela Morel was born in 1993 in Presidente Prudente, Brazil. She graduated from the Escola do Teatro Bolshoi in Brazil in 2011 (class of professor Galina Kravchenko). She has also studied with L. Sinelnikova. While still a student there, she has toured in Brazil, Italy and Uruguay.

She has participated in master classes and appeared onstage with such stars of the world ballet as: V. Vasiliev, M. Kondratieva, G. Kozlova, G. Kravchenko, L. Sinelnikova, P. Broyer, S. Orekhov, B. Barykin, E. Andrienko, D. Afanasiev, A. Ivanov, A. Akhmetov, D. Rykhlov, S. Lobato and S. Kershe

She joined the youth ballet company of the Escola do Teatro Bolshoi in Brazil in 2012 (class of D. Rykhlov)

In 2014, Morel joined the ballet company of the Primorsky Theatre of Opera and Ballet From 2016 she is a member of the ballet company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
