Born in Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, Yevgenia Akishina graduated from the Serebryakov Volgograd Institute of Arts (class of Natalia Moiseyevna Vyatkina) in 2008. In 2014 she completed her postgraduate studies under Prof. Margarita Petrovna Chernykh, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, at the Rachmaninoff Rostov State Conservatory.
In 2006 Yevgenia Akishina became a member of the orchestra at the Volgograd Music Theatre. Together with the orchestra, she has toured over Russian cities and taken part in concert and festival programs.
In 2012 as an accompanist she joined the Tsaritsyn Opera in Volgograd. She has participated in staging such operas as Tosca, La bohème, The Dawns Here Are Quite, etc. over the years.
In 2015 and 2017 Yevgenia Akishina took part in staging such operas as Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Mozart’s Così fan tutte, ossia La scuola degli amanti at the International Lyric Academia in Roma&Viterb Festival, Italy. In 2019 as an accompanist she participated in master classes for young opera signers given by Maria Shaguch, Honored Artist of Russia, in Prague, Czech Republic.
Since 2017 Yevgenia Akishina has been an accompanist with the opera company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. She takes part in the preparation and production of current repertoire performances and operas of the International Mariinsky Far East Festival, Vladivostok. In 2018 as Principal Concert Master she participated in the preparation of Stravinsky’s Mavra for the Stars of the White Nights Festival in Saint Petersburg. She takes part in chamber concerts and performances in the Chamber Hall at the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
