Alexander Garshin

• Prize-winner at the IV International Vocal and Choral Competition Tsarskoye Selo (1^st prize, 2020)

Alexander Garshin was born in Novokuznetsk. In 2023, he graduated from the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Prof. Yuri Mikhailovich Marusin, People’s Artist of the RSFSR, class of Prof. Olga Dmitrievna Kondina, People’s Artist of Russia). In the Conservatory’s opera studio, on the stage of Music Hall, he performed the part of Ferrando from W.-A. Mozart’s opera Così fan tutte and the part of Alfredo from G. Verdi’s opera La traviata.

As part of the Opera LAB project, he performed the part of Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti) on the Chamber Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre (July 2022).

From 2023 to 2025, Alexander Garshin underwent internship at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre (class of Oleg Anatolievich Dolgov, Honored Artist of Russia).

Since September 2025, Alexander Garshin has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
