In 2014, after the completion of her vocal studies in Kazan, Utarid Mirzamova entered the Musical Theatre Department of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Moscow to take Dmitry Bertman’s course, where she pursued her vocal studies under Emma Sarkisyan, People’s Artists of Russia.
In 2015 she acted in the documentary P.I. Tchaikovsky: Secrets of the House in Klin. In 2016 she became a participant of the Young Artists Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theatre.
In the 2017/2018 season, Utarid Mirzamova sang at multiple concerts and festivals including the project Idomeneo: Fragments of W.-A. Mozart’s Opera in the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theatre and her solo concert at the Orfeo Music Festival in Vipiteno, Italy. She took part in the concert Rising Star of the Bolshoi Theatre in Graz, Austria and appeared on the TV program The Romance of Romances on the Rossia-Kultura channel. She also sang the soprano part in Gioachino Possini’s Petite messe solennelle and the Polovtsian Maiden’s part in A. Borodin’s Prince Igor, staged by Yuri Lyubimov at the Bolshoi Theatre.
From 2019 to 2023 she was a soloist at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Utarid Mirzamova performed Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria in Parkano, Finland in 2020, Felix Mendelssohn’s Elijah in Lapua, Finland in 2021 and Giovanni Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in Moscow in 2021.
In the 2023/2024 season, she successfully debuted in Europe, singing Elizabeth’s role in Richard Wagner’s Tannhäuser at the National Theatre in Košice, Slovakia.
From July 2026 Utarid Mirzamova has served as an opera soloist at the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
