Samira Galimova was born in St Petersburg. In 2016 she graduated from the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg Music School (class of N.A. Kolosova, Honored Artist of Russia). In 2022 she graduated from the N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Prof. N.P. Drozdova-Vainer, People’s Artist of Russia).
Samira Galimova received scholarship from the Muslim Magomaev Musical and Cultural Heritage Fund in 2021 to 2022.
In 2022, she made her debut as Violetta on the stage of the educational theatre of the St Petersburg Conservatory. She also performed the role of Militrisa in the opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan with the State Symphony Orchestra of Leningrad Region conducted by Mikhail Golikov (Gatchina, Priory Park).
In 2022 to 2023, she was a student of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre (class of Prof. L.A. Chernykh, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation).
Samira Galimova has participated in master classes given by Larisa Gergieva and Tamara Sinyavskaya.
She has appeared with such conductors as Mikhail Sinkevich, Marco Boemi, Mikhail Golikov, Sergey Tatarin, Ivan Stolbov, and Murad Annamamedov.
Since September 2023, Samira Galimova has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
