Maria Tchaikovskaya graduated from the M.M. Ippolitov-Ivanov State Music and Pedagogical Institute (class of Prof. Ruben Pavlovich Lisitsian, Honored Artist of Russia). From 2023 to 2025, she was a soloist at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre (class of A.A. Tikhomirov and V.A. Verestnikov).
When employed with the Opera Centre, she performed the following parts: Iolanta in the opera of the same name by P. Tchaikovsky, Micaёla in G. Bizet’s Carmen, Marfa and Saburova in N. Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride, Nella in G. Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, and Larina in P. Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin.
In 2022, she took part in the Mstislav Rostropovich International Festival in Orenburg.
In 2023, as part of the Vishnevskaya Opera Festival in Saint Petersburg, Maria performed in Eugene Onegin (directed by Vladimir Vasiliev, People’s Artist of the USSR, conducted by Dmitri Jurowski).
Maria Tchaikovskaya has worked together with such conductors as Valery Kritskov, Anton Torbeev, Yaroslav Tkalenko, Andrey Ivanov, Valery Vorona, Grigory Seredin, Yuri Simonov, Marco Boemi, and Igor Berendeev.
From 2025 to January 2026, she was a soloist with the Tomsk Regional Philharmonic.
Since February 2026, Maria Tchaikovskaya has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
