Viktoria Kangina was born in Krasnodar Region. In 2009, she entered the Academic Vocal Performance Department of the Krasnodar Music College named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of Prof. L.M.Shcherbakova, Honored Cultural Worker of Kuban).
Later, having moved to Moscow, she continued her studies at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts GITIS in the studio of directors A.B. Titel and I.N. Yasulovich, majoring as Musical Theatre Actor. In 2012, she entered the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Prof. E.B. Obolenskaya).
In 2015, she performed the part of Olga in a semi-stage production of the opera Eugene Onegin as part of the opera projects by director P. Berten and conductor M. Simonyan, accompanied by the Kaluga Regional Orchestra.
After graduating from the Academy in 2016, she was invited as a soloist to the Astrakhan State Theatre of Opera and Ballet. In 2018–2020, she took a Master’s Degree course at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, specializing in Classical Singing (class of Prof. M.S. Agin, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation).
Since 2019, Viktoria Kangina has been a soloist of the Moscow Opera House under the direction of A.Legchakov. In 2020, she was invited to the North Caucasus State Philharmonic named after Safonov in Kislovodsk, to perform the part of Olga in Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugene Onegin. In 2021–2024, she was a soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre named after D.A. Hvorostovsky. During the company’s tour to the Bolshoi Theatre in 2022, she performed the part of Mallika (Lakmé by L. Delibes). Since October 2023, she has been a guest soloist with the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Since July 2024, she has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
