In 2016 Azamat Malyshov graduated from the Department of Vocal Arts of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory (class of Avkhiy Khavlash, People’s Artist of Mongolia and Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

Since 2016 he has been a soloist of the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Since August 2025 Azamat Malyshov has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
