Sergey Krylov was born in Dubna, Moscow Region.
Sergey Krylov studied at the Gnesin State Musical College from 2007 to 2010. From 2011 to 2016, he studied for his bachelor’s degree at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, and from 2016 to 2018 – for his master’s degree there (class of Andrei Innokentievich Grigoriev, Honored Artist of Russia, all the years of study).
From 2019 to 2021, Sergey Krylov was a graduate assistant at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Prof. Vladimir Nikolaevich Red’kin, People’s Artist of Russia).
Sergey Krylov has taken part in master classes given by Sergei Leiferkus, Ramón de Andrés, Alexander Naumenko, Lyubov Stuchevskaya, among others.
From 2012 to 2021, he was engaged by the Speransky Opera Theatre Studio under the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. He made his debut as Figaro in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.
From 2018 to 2023, Sergey Krylov was a soloist of the Moscow State Academic Chamber Choir (Minin Choir).
From 2021, he has engaged in teaching at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.
From August 2023, he has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
