Alexandra Shalimova was born in Krasnodar.
In 2013 she graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (class of Prof. Tatiana Alexandrovna Udalenkova).
From 2013 to 2018 Alexandra Shalimova worked as a ballet artist at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. From 2018 to 2019 she was an artist of the Atlanta Ballet (Georgia, USA). In November and December 2019 she performed as a guest ballet artist with tours in Guangdong and Hainan Provinces (China).
Took part in a tour in Harbin (The People’s Republic of China), Doha (Qatar) and at the Mariinsky Theatre (St Petersburg) as a member of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage.
Since July 2022, Alexandra Shalimova has been a soloist of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
