Arina Nagase


  • Silver medal at the Classical Youth Ballet Competition (Shizuoka, Japan, 2007)
  • Secondary School Ballet Competition (Machida, Japan, 2008)
  • The Audience Prize and the red ribbon at the XVI Spring Ballet Festival of the NBA Ballet Company (Tokyo, Japan, 2010)
  • Gold medal at the National Korean Ballet Competition (South Korea, 2011)

Arina Nagase was born in Japan and graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, where she studied with Luidmila Kovaleva, Vadim Desnitsky, and Valery Sergeev. 

Took part in a tour in Harbin (The People’s Republic of China), Seoul (South Korea), Doha (Qatar), Vladikavkaz and at the Mariinsky Theatre (St Petersburg) as a member of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage.

Since 2013, she has been a soloist of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In 2016 she became a soloist of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. Since May 2023 she has been a first soloist.
