Juri Shikatani was born in Tokyo, Japan.
In 2019 she graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (class of Irina Aleksandrovna Sitnikova).
In 2019–2023, Juri Shikatani was engaged by the Buryat Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Since December 2023, she has been an artist of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
