Erdem Sandakov

• Prizewinner at the Mongolian International Ballet Competition (2^nd prize, 2019)
• Prizewinner at the 1^st Russian-Japanese Eurasian Ballet Competition (3^rd prize, 2019)
• Diploma recipient at the All-Russian Modern Dance Competition (2020)

Erdem Sandakov was born in Shibertuy, Bichursky District, Republic of Buryatia. In 2018, he graduated from the Buryat Republican Choreographic College named after L.P. Sakhianova and P.T. Abasheev (class of Yu.F. Muruev, People’s Artist of Russia). In 2018 to 2025, he was employed with the Buryat State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after G.Ts. Tsydynzhapov.

Erdem Sandakov participated in the fourth season of Rossiya-Kultura TV’s project Grand Ballet (2024).

In July 2025, he became a dancer of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.

Repertoire includes:
Swan Lake (Prince Siegfried);
Beautiful Angara (Yenisey);
Le Corsaire (Conrad);
La Bayadère (Solor).

Solo parts in the ballets The Nutcracker, The Talisman, La fille mal gardée, Le Corsaire, La Bayadère, Cipollino, Don Quixote, A Thousand and One Nights, The Fountain of Bakhchisarai.

Repertoire also includes: pas de deux from the ballets The Talisman, Flames of Paris, Le papillon, Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, La Bayadère, and adagios from the ballets Beautiful Angara, and Spartacus.
