Denis Kolesnikov was born in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine.
In June 2021 he graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (class of Mansur Shamilievich Enikeev, Honored Veteran of Labour of the USSR).
Since July 2021, Denis Kolesnikov has been an artist of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
