On May 13, 2022 the Soul of Dance prize awarding ceremony and the Gala Concert took place on the Main Stage of the Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre. The Soul of Dance award was established by the Ballet Magazine jointly with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in 1994.
The prize in the Knight of Dance nomination was solemnly awarded to Eldar Aliev, Ballet Artistic Director of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, Honored Artistic Creator of Russia.
The same night, before the Moscow public, several soloists of the Primorsky Stage Ballet performed the choreographic piece Inspiration choreographed by Eldar Aliev to music by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
