Olga Zharikova, a soloist of the Primorsky Stage, became a prizewinner at the International Singing Competition in Logroño

In June 2021 Olga Zharikova, a soprano soloist of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, became a prizewinner at the 38th International Singing Competition in Logroño (Spain).

Olga Zharikova graduated from the Saint Petersburg N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory and Plácido Domingo’s opera program for young singers in Valencia. The singer often became a prizewinner at international competitions in Russia, Europe, North America and Latin America. Olga Zharikova made her debut at the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre in 2019, when she sang the title part of immense complexity in Donizetti’s opera Lucia di Lammermoor. She has since sung lyric coloratura roles such as Violetta Valéry in La traviata, the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Gilda in Rigoletto, Marfa in The Tsar’s Bride, and Adele in Die Fledermaus.
