Tickets for new events in November begin to be sold on the Primorsky Stage website prim.mariinsky.ru or ticket offices. This Sunday and during next week opera goers are expected to enjoy The Tale of Tsar Saltan and The Tsar’s Bride by Rimsky-Korsakov, La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi and Carmen by Georges Bizet, in which leading soloists of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre will take part.
On the ballet bill there are a night of George Balanchine’s one-act ballets Scotch Symphony, Apollo and Serenade and Adolphe Adan’s classical ballet Le Corsaire, which will be performed by leading dancers of the Primorsky Stage.
