Galina Cheplakova was born in Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan. In 2005 she graduated from the Ufa College of Arts (class of Sima Iosifovna Mishuris, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan). In 2010 she graduated with honors from the Academic Vocal Performance Department of the Zagir Ismagilov Ufa State Academy of Arts (class of Prof. Flyura Akhmetsheevna Kildiyarova, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Milyausha Galeevna Murtazina, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan). In 2009 she trained in Italy.
From 2008 to 2010 Galina Cheplakova combined her studies with her traineeship as an opera singer at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2010 she became a soloist at the same Theatre.
In 2011 she was invited to appear in gala concerts at the XXIX Chaliapin International Opera Festival in Kazan.
Galina Cheplakova is a guest soloist at the Musa Jalil Tatar State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet and Astana Opera.
She has collaborated with such conductors as Kirill Petrenko (Germany), Matteo Beltrami, Marco Boemi, Giuseppe Acquaviva (Italy), Renat Salavatov (Russia), Airat Ichmouratov (Canada), Mika Eichenholz (Sweden), Alla Moskalenko (Ukraine), Miloš Krejčí (Czechia), and Alexander Anisimov (Belarus).
Since January 2025 Galina Cheplakova has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
