Anna Barkhatova

• Prize-winner at the XI International Rimsky-Korsakov Competition (Tikhvin, 2018, 1^st prize)
• Prize-winner at the VI All-Russian Nadezhda Obukhova Young Vocalists’ Competition (3^rd prize, Lipetsk, 2014)
• Prize-winner at the I International Young Opera Singers’ Competition Opera without Borders (3^rd prize, Krasnodar, 2014)
• Prize-winner at the International Maxim Mikhailov Competition (3^rd prize, Kaluga, 2013)

Graduated from the Shebalin College of Music in Omsk (class of Natalia Ogneva) and from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 2012 (сlass of Yevgenia Gorokhovskaya).

At the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire she performed the roles of Countess Rosina in Le nozze di Figaro, Flora Bervoix in La traviata and Laura in Iolanta.

Soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers in 2013–2023. Anna made her Marinnsky theatre debut as First Lady in Die Zauberflöte.

Since January 2024 she has been a member of the Opera Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
