Georgy Stelmakh started his education at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, and then he entered the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (the Bolshoi Ballet Academy). He graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography in 2016.

Georgy Stelmakh has been employed by the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre.

Took part in a tour in Doha (Qatar) and at the Mariinsky Theatre (St Petersburg) and at the Bolshoi Theatre (Moscow) as a member of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage.

Since July 2022, Georgy Stelmakh has been a soloist of the Ballet Company of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
