Stanislav Korchagin

• Second Prize winner at the IV All-Russian Piano Competition (December 2022)
• Second Prize and Audience Choice Award winner at the International Piano Competition “A. Scriabin” in Grosseto (Italy, February 2023)
• Third Prize and Bronze Medal winner at the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition (June 2023) 

Stanislav Korchagin was born in Moscow Region. Since 2011, he has been taught by T.A. Zelikman, Professor at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. 

Having graduated from the F. Chopin Moscow State College of Musical Performance, Stanislav Korchagin was educated at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and completed his post-graduate studies there in 2022.

He took part in the Mariinsky International Piano Festival in Saint Petersburg, where he appeared with the Mariinsky Orchestra and performed Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini in 2016. In 2020, he appeared in a series of Kawai concerts in Germany (in Düsseldorf, Krefeld, and Lindenberg). In 2023, he participated in the International Chopin Piano Festival in Darmstadt, Germany.

Nowadays Stanislav Korchagin successfully combines his concert activity with teaching at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.
