Due to an increase in the membership of the Opera Company, the Primorsky Stage announces a contest to fill vacancies of soloists including lyric-coloratura sopranos, sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, tenors, baritones, basses, as well as the position of vocal accompanist.

CONTEST TERMS FOR SOLOISTS

– your CV that specifies your education, scenic experience (if any) and repertoire;
– your photo; and
– links to audio/video records of your concerts or performances.

CONTEST TERMS FOR VOCAL ACCOMPANIST
Please, send to glushenko@mariinsky.ru:
– your CV that specifies your education, work experience (if any) and repertoire;
– links to audio/video records of your performance of a scene from the opera (without a vocalist-illustrator, the illustration of the vocal part by the accompanist himself is welcome), the accompaniment of an aria from the opera with a vocalist-illustrator.

You should submit your application on or before February 1, 2023. No application submitted after the above date will be accepted. Please, contact Elena Aleksandrovna GLUSHENKO, Director of the Opera Company, for details by +7 914 730 7941 with Vladivostok time taken into account.

According to results of consideration of your CVs and records some applicants will be called for a voice trial in Saint Petersburg. All trial expenses (including travel, accommodation, etc.) should be paid by applicants.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Primorsky Stage does not comment a decision taken upon consideration of any application.

2. Turandot by G. Puccini. Act II, Scene 2 (Riddle scene. “Straniero, ascolta!.. until the Prince’s remark “Il mio fuoco ti sgela: Turandot!”).
3. Eugene Onegin by P. Tchaikovsky. Closing scene ("Enough, stand up").
4. Mazepa by P. Tchaikovsky. Act I, Scene 1. (Scene of Maria with the girls “I will curl, curl my fragrant wreath).
5. The Tsar's Bride by N. Rimsky-Korsakov. Duet of Lyubasha and Gryaznoy.
6. War and Peace by S. Prokofiev. Scene 1. Scene in Otradnoe.
